Does anyone have any good ideas to reduce the swelling on my eye withoutseeing a!
Question: I had this type of thing before...but last time it was infected. Right now, all i have is painful swelling on my right eyelid. Does anyone now any good small home treatments i could use on my eye...so i can go back to school tomorrow lol. Thanx everyone. =)

It sounds like a stye (a clogged oil gland on your eyelid). Put warm moist compresses on it to help draw it out. This should help, although it may take a few days. If your eye becomes red, itchy, oozy or otherwise irritated get to the doctor right away.
Don't put ice on it--that won't help.
For any swelling just remember RICE
Rest
Ice
Compression
Elevation
What's wrong with going to the doctor? If it is really painful and hurts, you gotta get it checked out. They will tell you the proper medication and treatment. You don't want to wait for it to become worse. But right now, you should put a small towel under warm water, and then put the towel over your eye for awhile. Hope you feel better
