You've had several bad migraines just in "the past couple days?" That's odd. I assume that in the past couple of days you've had a migraine which the medicine you've taken has caused to recede, but never leave.

In other words, sounds to me like you've had the same migraine for two days and the medicine you're taking isn't knocking it out. For me, at least, a typical migraine has a three-day cycle unless the correct medication is used. So you need to see your doctor about getting a better medication. (Of course, you know you need to see a doctor anyway about this.)

I know you feel like ramming your head through a brick wall to make it stop. Besides medication, some other things that help are: Sit or lay in a quiet, cool (even very cold) room and remain perfectly still until you fall to sleep. Sometimes sleep will knock it out.

And though all the literature recommends using an icepack on your forehead, I find that a heating pad helps. Also, a vibrator with a high-heat setting gives some relief when used on my forehead and temples. If nauseated, sometimes vomiting will suddenly stop it.

Then again, it could be a sinus problem. You're need to visit a doctor, regardless. I know you're going through torture. Best to you.

Here are the best sites I know of for chronic pain due to migranes

Millions of people suffer from Migraines, I used to but found out it was because my teeth were not lined up and were putting stress on my jaw which caused the headaches. It could be almost anything really. What your eating, stress level, hormones, if it doesn't get better I would suggest a trip to a neurologist.

I have bad migranes as well,
and the symptoms you've described are not unusual.
I take something called Migraten.
I'd say don't take yahoo members' words for it,
go to your doctor.

you should go see a family physician to start with...there are medicines he/she can prescribe..and especially the blurred vision...the sooner the better...if driving it could be dangerous, sometimes dizziness included with symptoms you describe..
