I sprained my wrist ,I got it x-rayed, and it hurts so bad. Is this normal?!
Question: it happend yesterday and it hurt so badi had to go to a urgent care, they said it was not broken but they gave me splint, icouldn't even putit on. could there be something else wrong? i broke my arm before ad it didn't hurt this bad. please help

Sprains and strains are far more painful than most fractures, so if you have had it x-rayed and there is no break, my guess is that you sprained, strained or even subluxed it.
Try rest, ice, compression (bandage it for support if you can't tolerate the splint) and elevation (eg put it up on a pillow) If you can take aspirin or ibuprofen preparations, these are the best as they have an anti inflammatory action.
Persevere and it should start to feel better in a few days. If you continue to have problems, go back to the doctor.
