i listen to music, read a book, or put a heating pad on my stomach...it calms me down and dont watch tv or anything...that type of noise is bothersome...
I play a little online poker...the free tables.
turn off radio, TV..nice and quite and sit have a drink and relax
I usually don't do anything. I run out of time. I just hop in bed and lie still, cuddle with my husband.
The worst is when I study or do homework up until bedtime. I have a hard time shutting down my mind to sleep. I try to stop studying or reading at least 15 minutes before bedtime but usually I do a 1/2 hour before.
Try turning the lights down low and read a book. It is really relaxing.
Turn OFF the TV, phone, computer, etc. The lights will stimulate you to stay awake longer. Turn off any main lights and turn on a lamp. Read a chapter in a book, a little of a magazine, relax.
It is helpful to maintain such a routine, especially at the same time each night, because you can train your body's internal clock.
GET A HOT TAB OR GET IN A GYM YOU WILL SLEEP VERY WELL.
