I was burned with coffee at starbucks because of some clumsy worker .?!

Question: They apologized and Asked me how much did I want for Pain and suffering. The burn took 3 weeks to mostly heal. It left a Half dollar sized scar on my back left shoulder. I asked them how hot they were brewing there coffee and got no response but the question being avoided. aside from that Though How much should I say. I have never been in this kind of situation.

Most court cases I have seen, people get nothing for pain/suffering.But maybe they should pay your Dr. bills.Hope you kept the invoices to prove your case.

well tell them that u would like to talk to the manager and ask him the quesrtion there should be no reason for them to avoid ur question enless they have something to hide!!! dont u think!!

i would contact the starbucks headquaters and ask them how hot they brew there coffee because if your burn took 3 weeks to heal and has left a scar i would say they are definetley serving it way to hot in that particular chain if you get no responce from starbucks hq id sue them
hope this helps

That didn't happen. A company like Starbucks would not just say "How much do you want for pain and suffering?". They would cover your medical expenses, if any, with their insurance and anything else you would have to sue them for.

grow up lady. its coffee, its hot.

I think you should ask for nothing, you asked for hot coffee you got it. I assume if you worked at Starbucks you could never have an accident? If you did would you want someone making a big deal over you. I am an American and I get sick at the amount of fruitless law suits. The only reason they ask you this is to keep you from going to court against them and honestly it seems weird they asked you this in store.
I am sure it hurt and it took a while to heal but this could have even happened to you at home.
Brewing the coffee too hot? Maybe you should ask for it room temp if you don't want hot coffee I on the other hand do.

you beter take that asses to the courtroom and sue sue sue
