Should I go and see a doctor again for my ankle?!

Question: Going on week 6 of my injury, was told no break. Severe sprain and achilles tendonitis. Still having pain when walking and now I see a red welt over the inside part of the joint that hurts to touch. Could have happened from one of my many falls lately. I have a history of chronic sprains leaving both ankles weak and now I lose my balance very easy. And then last night trying to get comfortable which I have a hard time doing, I used my foot to move and I felt a bad strain in the back of my ankle which caused lots of pain. This morning the back of the ankle in all swollen and is very painful.

I have no insurance but should I go and see doctor for ankle or is this just a set back that will heal in time. No clinics I would rather pay at this point if I have to.

Take it from me! GET YOUR BUTT too doctors!
I had broken ankle and I had emergence surgery on...it was broke in 3 places! I had plate, screw and the whole hardware store in my foot! I had problems with it for 4 years after words, and 3 surgery's later it's better then its ever been! Ooh it still bothers me some but never like it did! I lived on pain pills off and on for those 4 yrs!
Then I fell again and FRACTURED my other foot just right after the first was under control! Hospital said it wasn't broke...went to family doctor and he said it was BROKE! I walked around for a MONTH! and finally FOOT DOCTOR order me a MRI!...........Guess what ? It was broke! It was a fracture that could only be seen on MRI. Got another cast put on for 6wks! JUST TAKE IT FROM ME! Get too regular foot doctors! or you MAY be very sorry!
GOOD LUCK!

See the doctor....

You might have to pay money... but you can always make more money in future... you don't get a second chance in life though... and you definately don't want to risk permanent injury.

I broke my finger three months ago and I still can't play the piano for very long.

Soft tissue damage takes longer to heal than the break of a bone.

It just takes time.
