Keep applying ice, or cold water. Use a wash cloth or wrap some ice up in a wash cloth. Don't put it directly on the burn. it will hurt for a while because you burned yourself, but the pain should go away after today. It will probably turn into a blister- which, in that case, please don't pop it or it will hurt alot.

This isn't serious at all- just keep it wrapped up. If you pop the blister (by accident etc.) put a bandaid and neosporian on the area so it doesn't get infected.

Best of luck and I hope you get better soon. :]

make a paste with baking soda and water. smear it on the burn.
I had one from a curling iron, I could see it start to blister. The paste made it go away completely, no blister or nothing. Ticked me off since my mother-in-law told me about this trick which I was sure wouldnt work, but it did and I had to tell her she was right!

Every time it warms up put it under the cold again until it numbs. This could take half a dozen or more times, all you are doing is taking the energy out of your skin - if you don't it will continue deeper into the skin.

Do not break the skin if you can avoid it.

really? anyway thnx for the 2 points!!

neosporin that pastey stuff
