Physical pain is a very personal and subjective experience. It is not uncommon for people to feel pain without any physical signs. In fact, many Americans now received surgery to reduce their back pain even without any physical noticeable signs of abnormality. (I am not suggesting any surgery here.) I just want to let you know that pain it is a very real experience, and you should not ignore it. Pain can be caused by both physiological and psychological factors. The cause of the pain can sometimes be unidentifiable. If you rate your pain higher than 4 in the scale of 0 to 10 (0 is no pain to 10 the worst pain you ever had) than you should see your doctor for some pain medication, or discuses for other alternative therapy to control your pain. For your situation, I would suggest you go back to your doctor for a more in-depth examination. In the mean time, you can take some Tylenol to control your pain. If your pain persist more than a week, booking an appointment with your doctor is strong recommended. Hope this will help.

mabye the doctor wasnt very good, if you have that much pain you are likely to have a stress fracture

maybe you have kidney stone

If you have numbness and shooting pain, and you're dr hasn't researched the cause further, go to another dr. It could be a sciatic nerve pain, slipped disc, or pinched nerve.

Try another doctor then. Maybe his MRI is broken.

go to a chiropractor!!!!!

Go see a chiropractor, they make you feel brand new.

1- it could be in your mind but i doubt it
2- go to an orthopedic doctor and physical therapist
3- go to a spa or something and get some massages

i know a treatment for your problem.

YOU need to keep telling the doctors you are still in pain. Don't give in they should have a pain management clinic they can refer you too. Try maybe a chiropractor.

I have the same problem, it sounds like nerve damage. Try stretches, ( I do basic yoga). I also use a heating pad, hot baths and a lot of leg stretches and walking.

Try seeing a different doctor for starters. I don't recommend a chiropractor until you know what is wrong. They have been known to cause more severe problems with certain cases. In the interim of seeing another doctor, maybe some attention to posture and support. There are also girdle like braces (with metal suppors in the back) that I have worn at night while I sleep and it helped a lot. It was too uncomfortable to wear during the day. If that helps you may need a new mattress and/or chair. Also, regular hot baths might help. The key is to find the cause of the problem. Most doctors will take numbness seriously and want to see you right away. Good luck..

You probably have sciatica, ask your doctor if he/she has ever heard of it. It's not uncommon, but definitely painful. A number of tests can be done to better identify the cause, and treatment of the underlying condition is generally more effective than strong narcotics for long term relief. You can take over the counter antiinflammatories and tylenol that can help some. Good luck

I'm not shure if this will help,,,,My Dad had a similar problem he found out his left lage was shorter then the right one by a few centimeters witch caused pain in his left side up to his back.
The doctor had him put a riser in his shoe to make up the difference and the pain went away..So the story goes,,He said the pain went away after a while.Could be this is your problem..
Hope this helps..............

ok what i think you did is slipped a disk
i say this because of the numbness and pain

but hey i might be wrong

depending on how old you are
this might not be that big of a problem

when i was 16
