Ankle pain?!?!?!

Question: I have never sprained my ankle. My rights ankle has really been hurting lately. it's a sharp pain. it hurts a little bit when I point my foot, but it doesn't hurt at all when i point my foot to the left or flex it. but it really really really hurts when i point my foot to the right. also, when i walk, it doesn't hurt to walk in a straight line, but when i have to change directions quickly, it really hurts. does anyone noe why my ankle hurts or what i should do about it?

you might have tendonitis. i have it and it sucks. BIG time. if it hurts when you push on it, and continues to hurt for several weeks, see a doctor.

for now, ice it for 20 minutes, then rest an hour. then ice for 20 minutes, then rest an hour. continue this as long and as often has possible. also take some pain killer/anti-infamitory. advil should work.

if your flat footed itz normal.

immediately go to the chiropractor

Sounds like a slight sprain or what they used to say in the old days "Oh dear, I turned my ankle." If it's not swollen that's good, it cannot be too bad then. As the poster said before me, ice it and maybe go to a drug store and buy one of those elastic fitted ankle supports and wear it for awhile.
