Sleepwalking, but only partially?!

Question: Last night, (well, it's 5 in the morning, so this only happened about an hour ago), I did something which was kind of like sleepwalking but not really. I guess to understand, I have to explain what happened.

Well, I dreamt I was on an overnight train (Last week I did go on one), and my friend forced me to go into this really small and dark compartment. I started to panic and get really hot and sweaty, and then I opened my eyes. Last night I closed my door and turned off ALL my lights (Knew it wasn't a good idea =P), so it was pitch black when I opened my eyes. I started feeling around (this is in real life), and even though I was awake, I was still in the train compartment in my dream. I found the door, and tried to feel around for the handle but I couldn't find it, so I knocked on the door and said "let me out" or something like that. (I'm not sure if I actually said it, or just thought it). Then, I have a painting on the back of my door, so I thought that was the thing that was

No! Not crazy ... I sleep walked for just one year when I was 12. As far as anyone knows I only did it when I was away from home ... we found out about those because someone would find me wandering around.

I don't remember a lot of them, but one did merge with my dream. But I don't think mine was as complicated as yours.

I was spending the night in this hall with a bunch of bunk beds (in real life, not in the dream) and I got up in my sleep and did God-knows-what and laid back down in another bunk. This bunk didn't have a person in it (fortunately) but some of the girls had put their camping equipment on it. I was dreaming something about lying down on a couch, and the couch was lumpy ... something was under me. And I was really tired in the dream so I started pulling things out from under me and throwing them on the floor ... in the dream *and* in real life. Welll ... they were metal plates and canteens, stuff like that, so it made a terrible racket. I woke up to bright lights and every girl in the camp standing around me looking at me like I was nuts. LOL And you should have seen how hard they laughed when I told them what had happened. VERY embarrassing.

I have a few other hideously embarrassing sleep walking stories, but that's the only one where my dream merged with the sleep walking :D

--edit--

I just wanted to clarify, the racket of me throwing the things didn't wake me up. People had to wake me up. Very weird.

Oh, and I wanted to add something else.

I had a teacher when I was in high school that would tell stories about her sleep walking. She told us one day that she spent the day arranging an Easter egg hunt and hiding eggs. So that night she went to sleep and woke up to find she had hidden her underwear all over the house. Now, I know she told this for comic effect, but she did say it was true.

It sounds like you shouldn't watch scary movies for a while if they're making their way into your dreams like that.

You may need to talk to a doctor dear, you could be a crazy person
