Knee injured ....AGAIN...?!
Question: ok... im going to the ortho in like an hour but just wanted some opions on what i may have done....
i origanally injured my left knee in June playing beach volleyball(MCL) and had this apointment previously to possibly schedule a scope since i was still in some moderate pain and had some mild instability... although i was hoping to finish the cheer season...
well anyway Sunday(3 am Monday) night my knee gave out completly.. and as it did i felt and "heard" a sickening grind/ripping sound... my knee swelled and felt as though it was going to fall apart... i was wearing my hinge brace when this happened, but had to wrap my knee with an ACE and the brace inorder to feel "comfortable" with weight bearing.. i ended up going to the ER cause it hurt whether i rested or hobbled around, and as a result i am in a huge immobolizer and back on crutches... at the ER they did xrays(neg) and the ligament stress tests, which showed instability in my knee...
what do u all think i may have done?

go see a doctor and get it looked on
