Sharp adominal pains?!

Question: For two days now I have this constant, sharp pain around my ribcage and around the lower left part of my stomach. It feels like when you sleep on an arm, and then when you flex your arm it aches, exept I get that pain all the time without moving. When I hold my books with my right arm, it sends shooting pains through my lower right adomin, but it never does that otherwise. The pain in the left side of my body stings when I don't move, and when I lift up my leg to tie my shoe, it kills, when I laugh, it stings, and when I bend down it feels like a knife is poking at me. I'm not pregnant, I'm only 13. Please help, thank you!

It could be your appendix, although usually the pain for that would be on your right side and radiate towards your belly button. But still, you should get checked out, better to be safe than sorry, a burst appendix can cause you to get really sick or even die. Good luck, I hope it's nothing serious, but really go to your Mom and say you need to see a Dr.

GO TO THE DOCTOR.........

Do you know if you have a history of gall bladder problems in your family?

it sounds like you may have broken or bruised a rib either that or appendicitis. You may want to contact your dr if you start to throw up or get a fever.. Hope that helps
