Can one have a bad smell come out their own nose?!

Question: I don't know for sure what it is, but I know this guy who I think I'm kinda into, but in moments of complete silence when we're at a movie theater or on the train together I swear a smell comes from his nose. It varies. Sometimes I smell something and sometimes I don't. I haven't said anything to him about it, cause I don't want to screw up what might be. So is this possible. Can someone have a smell come out of their nose?

The smell could be caused by bad breath or sinus or rhinitis.

sinus infection

yes..it's called bad breath

I don't think so, he probably farted

its called yuk mouth

My friend has a septum piercing (the one in the center of the nose like a bull) and he can smell it.
It's a funky smell, and if you have any 14g piercings or larger, you'll know it.

you didn't describe the smell, maybe its not coming out of his nose, as this is impossible; i researched before answering. could it be something like his shoes, B.O., a wave of the scent coming from his hair, his soap, etc.? if it bugs you, talk to him about it. even though it seems rude, at least you'll have the closure of knowing. you might also want to mention in this conversation that you dig him, as this would probably counterfire the fact that you're offendinding him by saying he smells. best of luck!

sinus and if is too bad he has to get surgery to take it out.

Maybe he burps with with his mouth closed and the smell comes out his nose!
