Bruised bone? Possible?!

Question: OK, so I am 37 weeks pregnant and took a spill outside my back door this afternoon.

I am not worried about my baby because he has been moving like crazy all this time to let me know that he is OK, but also because I caught myself on both my palms and one knee, but the other leg about 2 inches below my knee took the corner of the brick step. Yes it hurt like hell, and I cried.

Later tonight I was finally able to rub some Neosporin on it cause I couldn't do it before cause it still hurt alot! I think the ointment helped a little cause it doesn't sting so much anymore, but I did however notice that it feels like my bone, not the wound, hurts.
When I was walking and I turned to pivot on my foot, I could feel it hurting, so I did it a couple of times on purpose to make sure it wasn't in my head. Sure enough, it hurts.
Can you bruise a bone? Or should I be worried that it might be something worse?

Yeap you can bruise a bone. It will be fine in a few days.

Yes! You can bruise a bone. Your bones are the sight of blood production in your body. My medical advice to you is to call your OBGYN just to be on the safe side.

Most likely a bone bruise, takes some time to get better.
