i got pushed down once and near split my tongue in half with my teeth. put pressure on the bleeding and wrap ice in a plastic bag on keep it on your tongue. take Tylenol or your pain reliever of choice.

1. Ice

2. Don't do that

wow im sure every one bit their tongue before no big deal use ice.

ice could be dangerous.

1.) ice.
2.) rinse with water.
3.) if it's still bleeding to the point where it's like literally filling your mouth, i recommend going to the hospital and getting stitches (:

I do it all the time. I just rinse my mouth with salt in warm water. It gets better after awhile.

What ever you do don't take any anti inflammatory med such as aspirin or motrin etc. They thin the bllod so you will just keep on bleeding and it will be very difficut to to stop the bleeding.

ice xo

put ice in mouth.
dont have spicy items for 2-3days.

Wash your mouth out with a cup of salt water (clean the cut), then suck on a couple of ice cubes (prevent swelling). Once the cubes have melted, wash again with salt water.

Repeat until you think it's all clean. Make sure the tongue doesn't swell up too far. If the bleeding doesn't stop after 20ish minutes, go to hospital and have it looked at.

When did it...
then you follow very care that time....
