Chest Pain!?!?!

Question: I take about a dozen pills each night before bed time due to several conditions that I have. Each night after I take my meds I get a severe pain in my chest. The pain is located in my sternum area in the center of my chest. Could this pain be caused by my pills - maybe an irritation of some kind? I am planning on talking to my doctor about it next time I see him, but until then, it is very uncomfortable. It makes falling asleep difficult and well as breathing and the pain is gone in the morning. Any ideas?? Thanks!!

Wait sometime after you take your pills to lie down, like 1/2 hour, then sleep with a "high" pillow, don't lie flat; that will help a lot. Don't take them all at once...
Hope this helps..

P.S. to Laura B - you heart is not located behind your sternum - your esophagus is. None of the symptoms I described are associated with heart disease. Report It
