Aloe Vera helps.
Ibuprofen is good for the pain of sunburn.
But your aunt needs to stay out of the sun until she's healed, or else be fully covered at the beach.

A burn is a burn. People can get up to third degree burns from the sun.

If your aunt is the only one that can take you to the beach, then show some consideration and don't even ask her about going until she's healed.

The first step in treating any type of burn is to stop the burning process.

Now, the reason the burning persists is because her skin has absorbed the UV rays, and it is staying her skin and causing the irritation. Human skin absorbs UV rays much like a sponge absorbs water. The result is red skin, also known as a 1st-degreee burn. The usual treatment is irrigation with water.

I got this idea from the chemical burn shower in my old physics classroom in high school, and from EMT school. When I get sunburnt, I usually hop right in the shower and shower off the burned area(s) for about 15 minutes, but always for a minimum of 10 minutes. The water should be no warmer than room temperature, but cool water is recommended. It must be running water, though. A swimming pool will not work. Aloe vera cream also helps in relieving pain.

However, as with any sunburn, the best advice would be that your aunt avoid the sun until the burn subsides, or it can result in a 2nd-degree burn, commonly know as "sun poisoning." The method I described is not a cure and is not guaranteed to work, but it can help bring down the irritation. Also, always use sunblock when out in the sun.

Yes and I payed $300 for this info. Go get tea boil the water put in a bunch of tea bags put the mixture into the fridge to cool then soak washcloths in it and apply to burned areas. I was so bad I used the tub at a motel and six boxes of tea

Aloe Vera is really good, and if you know anyone one a rescue squad, ask them for Water Jell if they have any.
