Waiting really sucks. However it not a good sign if you are in and out in 15 minutes. If your doctor is good, he will have lots of business and you will wait.

Most important thing is when it's your turn does your doctor spend the necessary time with you and answer all your questions. Do you feel doctored when you leave?

Depends on the doctor.

I workd in a doctors office and most people had less then a 10 minute wait unless they came early or there was an emergency that needed to be handled.

But I know a breast surgeon that has people wait 3-4 hours. I took someone once and could not believe how bad it was.

usually an hour to and hour and a half.

Fifteen minutes is our average. Half-an-hour is pushing it.
