What do You think the monetary value will be?!

Question: I was involved in an accident 1 year 3 months ago at work. My right leg femur bone and knee cap fractured the femur now has a medal rod and pins and there is neuropthy(nerve damage) I cant pick the foot up. My left ankle has a metal plate holding it together. I was in the hospital on ECMO (the most life support the human body can be on... really cool search it) for over a month. I cant return back to work in my old position now. My attorney wants to settle for money instead of voc rehab. I know he is out for more money and I dont know if there will be enough money for me to go to school and take care of my wife and soon to be 3 kids?

I'd really try and get a settlement for at least your bills and the time you were off as well as voc rehab. It looks like you want to work, so make that known to your attorney. They really can't pay you enough to take care of your whole family for the rest of your life. Or see if they'll do a severance or pension plan for you instead... like an early retirement... or part time job in a different position with settlement money on top. There are a lot of options and I really think you need to make sure your attorney KNOWS you want some sort of job and not just to rape the company of all their money.

Good luck!
