How do you crack your own lower back? Have acute and sharp pain.?!

Hum! I pop my lower back all the time this way> Lay flat on your back and roll one leg across the other until you knee touches the floor. These are stretching exercises. Some times your back will pop, sometimes not. If you practice these moves every morning you do see results. If you'd like to e-mail me.

Go to a DR!!

Go to the Dr. and see what he recomends.

Bring up a yoga website and do "total backside stretches" and "cobra" position.

I can do it on command, its just hard to explain...

First.

Face a wall, then, 'turn' around but dont move your legs, and you should fell it coming, if it starts to hurt, stop.

Other then that... Yeah..

You shouldn't do it yourself, you are more likely to cause worse problems down the road.

Two options depending on what the problem is:
See an osteopath which is actual MD with similar chiropractic training but can prescribe muscle relaxants to help when trying to manipulate.

Second, if can find out the problem, a different chiropractor may be able to help as they all have different methods and treatment tables/therapies. For instance, my lower back pressed together from sitting on my foot and one chiropractor had a traction BED - not a contraption! and it slowly pulled my back out and after 2 treatments much much better. I could again get up and down out of chairs...
