Leg cramps?!
Question: why is it that in the middle of the night dometimes by leg will cramp up and it feels like a lot of pressure is on one spot. It really hurts and last night i started crying it was so bad. What is the term for this so i can look it up? and no they are not growing pains.

yeah leg cramps are UNBEARABLE. They're just known as muscle crampsor night cramps. nobody really knows what causes them, but the most plausable theory is to do with electrolyte imbalances. i get them the night after having alcohol and a salty dehydrating kebab!
They can be a symptom of diabetes, pregnancy or low potassium, but MOST are idiopathic (unknown cause).
there are treatments if they r really serious, but so little is known about them that its trial and error. gabapentin is a painkiller which is an option, but ive never heard of anyone needing painkillers.
To prevent them make sure you drink plenty of water during the day and have a stretch before bed. If you get one try and relax. Get up if you can and walk about a bit.
