Calming/Relaxing Scents?!

Question: I am having a difficult time relaxing for sleep tonight... I just feel tense all over, I have a headache with pain in my neck and shoulders, and I can't seem to just relax. I have heard that the scent of lavender can help you relax, but unfortunately, of all the Yankee Candles I have all over my apartment, lavender is not one of those scents! I was just wondering what other scents I could use? Off the top of my head, I know I have: Fresh Cut Roses, Juicy Peach, Ocean Water, Berry Tangerine, Clean Cotton, Water Garden, and Cranberry Chutney. I was thinking of lighting one by my bed tonight to maybe help me relax, but I don't know what scent would work for that. Any suggestions or other methods to use to help me relax are appreciated!

I think I would stay away from the fruity scents just because they may make you hungry and you'd don't want to fight false hunger on top of trying to relax.

Of the scents you've listed I would use the Ocean Water, Clean Cotton or the Water Garden. Also, I don't know if I'd want to try to sleep with a candle burning. I have a Febreeze Scentstories player and I don't have to worry about burning the house down. Each cartridge has 3 similar scents that play for about 30 minutes each.

Clean cotton is a good one, but I don't know that I'd recommend lighting a candle and then falling asleep! Could be a fire hazard.

try lavender scents / aromatheraphy , it has calming , relaxing, stress relieving & healing properties.
