Sharp stabbing pains?!

Question: In lower back area, what could this be? Not period pain.

Answers: In lower back area, what could this be? Not period pain.

There are plenty of possible things it could be.
kindney infection, kidney stone, bladder infection, strain, torn or pulled muscle, Either way...put a heating pad on your back and take some ib profen. the ibprofen will ease the pain and clam the inflammed tissue if there is any.
If its an infection of any kind drink plenty of water (recommended 64 oz daily) and 100% cranberry juice. if you want you can go to the drug store and get some AZO kindey, and urinary. which will cure it slowly but surely. But remember all this is still no substiute for going and getting checked out by your doctor. Hope this helps

Looks like you have acute back pain. You may have injured a nerve or torn a muscle. Things usually clear up within six to eight weeks from the initial point.

Kindly consult a doctor.

Kidney stones or acute back pain comes to mind from the symptoms you mentioned. Where is the pain exactly? This would help with more specific answers.

Lots of excellent answers are already given. I'd recommend that you look into them closely. If it is back pain, you may also add the use of ice pk for about 10 minutes at a time. You'll be surprised how much this helps.

See a Chiropractor who is also a nutritionist, they do a lot. Don't feel obligated to see one any more than two days a week for the first few weeks until your pain starts resolving. He/she will work with you on how often you need to see them. Most insurance don't cover Chiropractic care. You need to get them to work with you on your budget.

All the best.
