Question: if so did it hurt

I had my tongue pierced a few years back, I dont have it any more, but no the piercing did not hurt at all. They didnt numb my tongue, they take a clamp with a small circle on the end and put it in the middle of your tongue. This is the only part that is uncomfortable, because they clamp it so tight. The reason they clamp it tight is so you wont jerk back and rip your tongue in half! And the circle is the mark for the piercing. They take the needle and come up from the bottom in the middle of the circle out of the top of your tongue. Keep listerine with you, because you are supposed to wash your mouth out after every time you smoke, eat, or drink anything. It does hurt afterwards for a few days, because of the swelling and especially when you accidentally bite down on it, and trust me this will happen over and over again. Even after you get used to it, you will still do it. Mine quit hurting completely after about 2 weeks. Oh and please for the love of God, dont try to drink out of a straw for at least a week, or you will be in so much pain! Trust me!! I recommend after having it done to go to the store and get an icee (eat with spoon!) Hope this helped! I miss my tongue ring, wish I still had it sometimes!
