What is the fastest way to cure a headache?!
Question: I was off work yesterday with sickness and a banging headache. Today Im back at work and still feel really rough. Ive tried to take some pain killers but I can't swallow them! What else can cure a headache.
Please don't suggest going home as I am unable to go home (Only person in the office)

It might be due to dehydration, especially if you were vomiting yesterday, so make sure you drink plenty. Also you can buy either dissolvable pain killers or ones that melt on your tongue if you are unable to swallow tablets. If you can't get out the office to buy any you could always consider chewing the tablets you've got - tastes awful though, so make sure you've got something nice to eat/drink straight after to take the nasty taste away!
I cant get on with paracetamol or aspirins but I did try two dissolvable tablets in a huge glass of water and that worked for me.
You may not feel like it, but have some water, or more water if you already drink it. You could be dehydrated if you were sick yesterday. If you normally have a lot of caffeine, and you had none yesterday, it could be withdrawal.. which can be pretty nasty. I found that a small coffee or tea, and plenty of water are the best "natural" ways around the problem. A damp paper towel on your forehead might soothe things, but isn't all that practical!
Why don't you bang up the aspirins like my mother did when I was a kid and put them in your drink. Also, watch what you are eating. Sodium is a killer for headaches.
Try Goody's Headache powders. They are a powder and are easy to take. As they are already broken down they tend to work fast!
Try some brufen that dissolves on your tounge - all good chemists sell it.

If you want to stay alive then..."Nothing works faster than Anadin".....so take nothing!
Try cutting the pills down in size, and taking them with milk... I know I can't swollow pills either, but when I cut them down and drink something thick like milk, I can't event tell that I've taken a pill.

Headache is disease which makes headache to the doctors. So if it is a persistent one, better to go for a thorough checking. It causes due to various causes, from flue to brain tumors.
