I got the Top part of my ear pierced and latetly it hurts more?!
Question: I had the top part of my ear done 9 days ago. The thing is - it hurts mroe now than when i got it done! I clean it twice a day at least - with saline solution - and do the requested rotations...But why is it then that my ear feels warm, and is feeling very tender?
Could it just be healing and irritated all the time?

The top part of your ear takes a while to heal, you just have to perservere. I have had it pierced at least half a dozen times, I have found the most comfortable way is to take the stud out and put a sleeper in it, it will be a lot more comfortable.
If it is infected, go to your docs and get some antibiotics.

No, it sounds infected. You may have to remove the earring. I used to have 2 ear cartilage piercings. One did fine. The other did like yours. I had to let it grow up. My problem was that I sleep on that side, and the angle of the earring was wrong.Sorry.
people i work with told me that their cartilage piercings hurt for up to a year cause it was the side they sleep on. but if it feels warm and tender I would see a doctor to rule out infection. good luck.
