Uh-oh!
How old is your son?
Farting (flatulence) is a sign that poopie (fecal matter) is in the large intestine and creating methane gas (fart). I take it that your son is old enough to tell you that he has cramps. When was his last poop? What was the consistency? Is he constipated? Any diarrhea? Fever? Nausea/vomiting? Still need more information.
Diarrhea - may need to see a doctor, try to keep hydrated
If has not had a poop in 24 hrs he may be constipated. An old EFFECTIVE remedy 4-8 oz. of warm prune juice. NOT HOT! Just luke warm. Will definitely facilitate evacuation of the intestines gas, fecal matter, toys, rocks, coins, and all. Try that before using an over the counter medication.
If the child is toddler or better the left side with the Right knee bent and up toward stomach will facilitate BM and release of flatulence.

from the looks of pick he looks young. give him pear juice. lay him on his back and work his legs toward stomach and out. try laying him on his right side. good luck

Depends on how old but If younger than 5 what worked best for my kids was to have them lay on their backs and I would gently push their knees up to their tummy's to force out the air. Also so light pushing on their tummy works well.

You can try this:

Try to eat around 6 meals a day instead of breakfast/lunch/dinner. So basically it's like frequent meals but small portions. It'll help his motabolism

left side with legs bent. also you can massage his back or stomach if proper. also a hot bath helps then of course the is maylox max. or another gas releaver( gas-x) peppermint tea or pure peppermint also helps. if you dont have those drinking somthing hot helps some time.tell him to feel better.

Right side or on the back.

Lay on your left side and move your right knee towards your chin. It's because your left side is where your colon is.
