Why is it so difficult for me to belch?!
Question: A good burp relieves discomfort but I have never been able to, unless I have a really heavily carbonated drink, like club soda. Alka-Seltzer helps too.
It doesn't seem fair when my sister since the age of 6 has been able to let out a belch that can only be described as Lovecraftian.

I would try stomach enzymes. You can get them at a health food or vitamin store. They're a simple herbal combination that helps regulate the digestive fluids.
i have the same problem from the opposite end.
that's because i have ibs though. you could have indigestion.
you should go see your doctor, he/she should be able to help you out. :)
