ER.. I dont think I should go.?!
Question: I have been having a issue with my toe for a few weeks now.. I cut it pretty bad. Well it gets better.. then worst... blah blah. It's starting to puss like crazy again. My husband wants to me go to the ER. But do you go to the ER for stuff like that? We just don't really have much time during the week to go to the doctor. Ugh.. I don't want to go.

Well, ugh, losing your leg to infections is much worse.
You can go to an urgent care center, one of those free standing clinics. An ER is really for emergencies, like running a fever or seeing red streaks go up you leg from your toes.
If that happens don't bother asking the Jr.MDs here, just go to the ER.

Don't worry its only an infection... antibiotics and keeping your toe very clean and bandaged and you'll be in tip top shape in about a week or two. You need a doctor to get a prescription for the meds though. All the ER is going to do is charge you an arm and a leg for the same things you and your doctor can do... avoid that place if you can~~~
It sounds like an infection, listen to your husband and go to the ER they will probably drain the rest of the puss for you, wrap your toe and give you antibiotics.
i would go to the ER personally, it could be worse than you think!
at least go to your pharmacist or doctor a.s.a.p
okay well my experience (thumb not toe) anywayz a piece of wood went in it and i left it for like a month or so before i went to get it checked out .... after like 2 weeks it hurt like crazy and i swear lyk i didnt even sleep or anything ... my mum took me to the 24hours hospital at 4 in the morning because i was like screaming ... so i advice u to go to ur doctor or ER before it gets any worse ..... and the recovery process is easy
