Posting painkillers?!
Question: Are you allowed to send painkillers by mail overseas.
Whilst in America last year I bought a large bottle of painkillers (similar to paracetamol) for a very good price, they are very effective and cost very little. I was wondering if my son, who lives there would be allowed to mail some to the UK.

I know that if customs finds them coming into America you get a lovely letter from them telling you they have been siezed and will be destoyed within so many days. They don't come and arrest you or anything. I have had codeine seized before. I have no idea what would happen if you tried to have them sent into the UK.
I don't think so, in fact, it may even be a federal offense!!! Ask ur PostMaster or Post Office??????????????
Well being that they ask you sepcifically the contents of the package on those green slips, I would think NO. It is a felony. I am not saying you can't do it, I wouldn't want to get caught.
Get a script and have it filled there. I think you can actually do that?

and anyway...over the counter painkillers are cheap here anyway. Also prescription ones, because of the NHS are free or cheap if you have to pay the small fee for them.
i think as long as they are not prescription medicines it would be ok. after all you can buy non prescription medication on ebay so i think it must be alright. but i would advise either checking at the post office or royal mail online
