You are dehydrated. Dont wear so much clothing to bed and have a light blanket. Also drink a lot of water during the day and eat foods like bananas. Also dont lock your legs at night keep them seperated from each other and stretch them a little when you do wake. Also change position alot when sleeping.
Usually a deficiency. Take some calcium and potassium. Believe it or not, tonic water helps these. (Gin and tonic, without the gin!) Maybe you should drink some before bed.
Being a "personal kidney expert" NOT, medical professional but personal expert (see my bio.).
Your cramps could well be low potassium.
In addition to stretching, , IE: pressing your feet hard on the floor, and rubbing the cramps. Best idea is drink orange juice, or eat a banana.
I know foot/leg cramps are so bad that they make you scream. Try these methods. I hope they help.
you need a potassium
