Have burn on upper body, had blister they popped now just redness with open sore !

Question: Is the open sore oozing at all? If there's pus, be worried, go to the doctor. If there's no leakage, or it's only leaking a clear or yellow-clear fluid, you'll be okay. But keep an eye on it. Best thing to do since there's now an open wound in the burn is to take non-stick gauze (non-stick is very important!) and completely cover the sore, the burn, and a little bit of the healthy skin around the burn. Use medical tape to affix the gauze to the healthy skin, so that when you remove it, it won't stick to the burn and cause further injury. Keep it covered during the day, let it "air out" at night. If you have trouble removing the gauze, soak it in warm water before you take it off. Watch for signs of infection: heat, pus, red lines extending away from the wound, more pain then there should be; and go to the doctor if you see any.

Keep it clean and covered.

If it is larger than 2" then you must see a doctor. Keep it clean to avoid infection.
