I have the same problem. What works for me is exercise and eating more protein and less sugar. Stay on a pretty regular schedule (sleeping) and try to let go of any or as much stress as possible. Oh Yeah! very important! DRINK WATER! (60 oz. a day) water helps to improve every part of your body (immune system, skin, hair, energy, etc) you will be surprised at how something this simple will really help and you will crave more water. Good Luck! I know its aggrivating when you are always tired and cant get motivated to do anything bc all you want to do is sleep! I have also heard that you can get too much sleep...

Exercise makes you have more energy in general

6 hour power
5 hour energy
crack
cocaine
steroids
hang out with bill clinton
richard simmons
steroids

maybe get tested for sleep apnia (spelt that horribly wrong) ask your doctor about it. I know someone who just got diagnosed with it and his story sounded just like yours. it's like even though you get that many hours of sleep, it does not equate to that many because of certain factors. There's a cure for it too, with some machine thing and you wear at night, kinda like an oxygen mask

4:1 ratio of carbs to protein is found to be ideal according to the American Academy of Sports Medicine. -Most people eat too many carbohydrates in the form of sugars etc (white sugar use is about 30times higher than 100 years ago). 4:1 is also the found ideal ratio of omega 3s to omega 6 fatty acids. About 60% of calories should be from carbs, 15% from protein [amino acids], and the other 25% from fat with 20% and 5%, for the respective omega 3, omega 6, types.

The older food is the more nutrient poor it is. Right off the plant is best, i.e. fresh. Except for foods which are only digestible after cooking, raw foods are preferable. Only raw foods contain lives enzymes necessary for best utility of certain foods, but cooking makes it easier to digest harder food such as gourds, some vegetables, grains and seeds, and especially meats. Warning: Most meat in grocery stores have the opposite ratio of fats of what your body is designed/evolved to run best on.

Exercise... Oxygen [aerobic] metabolic factors are nearly 10 times more efficient than anaerobic (literally not-air/oxygen), i.e. food, alone. Exercise enough everyday, perhaps twice a day to maximize blood flow throughout the body. This will improve metabolism, and increase healing rates, energy use etc.

Insoluble fiber is necessary to maintain clean intestines, or else an intestinal plaque builds up along the intestine wall which prevents nutrient absorption, and also provide a rotting food surface that disease causing microbes thrive on.

Soluble fiber is necessary to maintain proper symbiotic balance of probiotics (good bacteria).

Eat only what smells good, and taste good after 20 or more chews (50 or more is much better), and stop eating as soon as you have maximized your energy, i.e. before any drowsiness starts in, or after 20 minutes of continuous chewing, which ever come first. It takes twenty minutes for a properly sized meal to be chewed thoroughly if you eat every 5 hours or so. It also takes that long for your body to realize it's full, at least for most people.

Most importantly, find something so wonderful, or meaningful for you to do, that you think of food and sleep only when it's really necessary, and eat only what's better your life after your done eating it.

God bless.
