Why do I have little white spots in my cut on my leg?!

Question: I'm a swimmer so I swim 7days a week, well i have this cut on my leg and today i went swimming for an hour and 45mins. when i got out i noticed the scab was gone and that my cut was open, it doesn't hurt, it only hurts when i touch it, anyways i noticed that there was these little white spots in my cut, and i asked my mom what it was but she said that i didn't need to worry abou it.....but i am worried abou it cause i don't know what it is. so i'm wondering if the little white spots in my cut is from the chlorine in the water, or is it something else? and should i be worried abou it?

this is normal. the white is just new skin cells. infection would look red around the cut, it would be hot to the touch, and usually there is a pus discharge. I would put neosporin on it and go ahead with the peroxide thing, however with the peroxide it will bubble no matter what on the cut. (and i notice that when i clean my earings the peroxide actually makes my fingers turn white in spots.)

keep swimming....an excellent sport.

Better go see your doctor....

idk white blood cells fixing it

When scabs get wet they can fall off. However with my kids I notice that when they take a bath and have a scab it turns kinda white. I would keep on treating it with hydrogen peroxide and put some neosporin on it after that. If it is an infection the peroxide will bubble, if it doesn't bubble then you know you are good. I usually just keep pouring the peroxide on it till it quits bubbling. Good Luck...
