Take a long relaxing bath tonight!! I had finals last week and I was STRESSED!!
The bath will help your back but will also help with stress. Stress is a key factor in back pain, when your body is all tensed up your back will hurt.

Good luck on the finials !!!

thermagesic.

put a pillow behind your back and try to have better posture today.

Short breaks between sessions and light exercise might help. Avoid caffeine (coffee, soda, coke, etc.).

to help get a heating pad or put a pillow behind your back and study on your bed.

I swear by icy hot!!! I also have an electric heating pad that I LOVE to use when I get those ocassional aches!

Sit on the floor...legs out reach for your toes...stretch out..Standing up legs straight touch toes..

wear an icee h0t patch bef0re class starts!
it will last y0u 24 hrs!

Thermacare makes heat therapy patches for backaches...they work wonders. sometimes, filling a large sock with uncooked rice, heating it and lying down with it under the small of my back helps me, too.

My boyfriend sits at a desk for 12hrs. and whenever he gets home, he likes me 2 walk on his back, he loves it

Get up frequently for a couple minutes at a time. Maybe once every 15 minutes? Every hour or so take a little longer of a break, to do some gentle stretches or maybe a short walk (to the mailbox, up and down the stairs, around the exterior of the house, etc).

You have to stay limber.

You can also apply ice to help with pain.

If your chair isn't working, try another chair in the house. Maybe a folding chair, or a dining chair. You may find it more comfortable.

Make sure to get up every hour and walk around a couple of minutes. To get rid of it take 15 minutes to do the stretches on this blog. It is the only article that has a list of things. Back a couple of months. See 8/23/07.

try a hot or cold pack
and try and think about your posture
and try and move more when your sitting down so stand up and riggle then sit back down i no it sounds weird but it might help

this could help ya out. good luck!

,Stand up and study, lay down and study, sit at a kitchen table to study, maybe do leg lifts while you study, take three 10 min. breaks to walk or ride a bike.

stretch
