I have a crick in my neck...?!

Question: It hurts whenever I turn left or tilt my head back. i put muscle rub on it yesterday (didn't help) and I tried rubbing it out myself in different areas (neck, shoulder, midback). It hurts from behind my ear, to my mid shoulder blad, to my left forearm. How can I get rid of it and where is its origin???

Could try cervical Isometrics with some ice. Review sleeping posture on web md. Head should be mid line spine could use towel rolls to cradle neck. anti inflammatory Advil.

Poor you. Neck pain, is, well, a pain in the neck.

Does a nice hot shower help at all?

You should check it out with your doctor to be on the safe side. They can give you the best advice on what to do for it. Hope you feel better soon!

ohh i had that and it hurt like crazy but the best thing u can do is too not turn ur head the way it hurts for a while. there isnt anything that u can really do to make it go away besides leaving it alone. if its not gone after a few hours try turning ur head very slowly the way it hurts
