Sprained knee or more?!

Question: I was wrestling with my friend yesterday and I felt a sharp pain in my knee. When I got up my knee gave out and bent inward. I went to the doctor and she ran a couple of motion tests. I'll admit I was really drunk so I didn't really respond. Today it is totally swollen and I can hardly walk. I cant stretch it out or bent it more than about 50 or 60 degrees without a whole lot of pain. Should i go in and get a second sober opinion or is what she did enough to go on.

i would get it looked at again and get a MRI done that will show anything that the x ray didnt

U need to RICE that knee up....Dont waist ur time at the doctor....

R-rest
I-ice
C-compression
E- elevation

GOOD LUCK!!!!

i would have it checked if u let it go it could get worse and u might not be able to walk at all at some point.

You being drunk had nothing to do with the doctors diagnosis. Did she not do an xray of the knee? If that is the case I say yes go have one done or jus take her at her word .. she is most likely correct

you should go back to the doctor, when you are not drunk, then if they can't do anything, go to Wallgreen's or somewhere like that, then you can buy ace bandage tape and crutches until it heals.
Hope this helps :)

It is probably just a bad sprain. If the swelling gets worse, or doesnt start to resolve in a week, call your doc back. Some sprains require surgery.

Hello Waterman

Go to a Doctor and get it solved.
