The calcaneum (heel bone) is one of the worst bones to fracture - it can take anywhere from 8 weeks up to a year to repair fully.
heels, little fingers or your nose - all bones take 5 to 8 weeks to heal [no pun intended]
6-8 weeks to set will still have pain if you over do it for 2-3 months
the heel is one of the worst places to break, and is very painful. i hope the rehab isn't too bad!
me mum broke her heel and foot 2 and a half years ago, and it still isn't recovered. she has osteoporosis however, so she will never fully recover.
i hope you aren't an old lady!
