Bruise wont go away what can I do?!

Question: I still have one of the bruises that I got on Valentines day, it's really faint, but it's still there. I'm scared because I don't know what could be wrong. My dad say's I'm fine....but how fine am I really?? Please help, I am scared, I escaped almost having cancer once....I don't want to have that fear again.

A holistic remedy to reduce bruising is found in natural food stores. It's a gel or cream called Arnica. Also, an intake of slightly more iron-rich foods may help speed internal wound healing (which accounts for bruising).

However, it seems that your main concern is not so much the actual bruise, but what it may represent (ie: illness, cancer, etc.). As you are not specific in what type of cancer you may have had or what the indicators were, I cannot comment on the likelihood that that may be the case. I can, however, tell you that their are other things that cause long-term bruising, including anemia (low iron in the blood), and even tanning booth exposure.

Depending on the bruise, most typically fast in a few weeks. If it would make you comfortable to talk to your doctor abot possible reasons that your vessels aren't repairing quite as quickly and havehim run a few tests, I say go for it. In the meantime, I would relax and try to eat more foods like raisins and red-meat--iron-rich foods, and see if that helps.

Take Care.

I think your fine.

Depending on what kind of bruise your referring to, physical or mental bruise? And there is minor and major bruises, you need to specify a type in order to receive a satisfying answer.

you have anxiety, sounds like our about to have a panic ttack

i think the bruse isnt anything you should worry about, try putting vitem e moisterising cream on it everyday and if it dosnt get better you could go to your local doctor and get it checked out. hope it goes away. :)

There are stages of a bruise and it depends on how bad you bruised it...its not entirely uncommon for a bruise to take more time healing. You must have hurt the underlying tissue for it to be taking this long. If it's faint..that says to me that it's in the last stages. Is it like a yellowish color?..just keep an eye on it and relax.

Since you fear it as one of the signs of cancer, get it looked at by a Doctor to diagnose if it's worth concern over. With a respected Doctor answering and looking into this, you'll be assured and calmed by him founding out the truth.
