Is it possible to use your hand if your wrist is cracked?!

Question: I mean a minor crack, not a major injury brought on by extreme trauma (i.e., a car accident).

Answers: I mean a minor crack, not a major injury brought on by extreme trauma (i.e., a car accident).

Yes. When most people the wrist, they are thinking of the Point that flexes at the end of the forarm. Their are 9 different bones that make up the wrist and allows the Hand to move and fold. any one of these bones can become fractured from the right kind of force.

while the fracture may not be large enough to impair movement - movement can impair healing which can lead to a lifetime of problems. Are you asking because your wrist hurts and think you may have broken it (but you can still move it)? If this is the case, got to a doctor and have an X-ray. that is the only way for sure to tell if you have truly broken it.

Yes, depending on where the crack occurred.

It just depends on the location and direction versus the load placed on the bones while being used.

It might hurt slightly or a great deal, or not at all.

yea u can, i fracturned my wrist before.

dude ive cracked both my wrists in one year(i skateboard)
but trust me ,you may be able to use your wrist (after its a little healed)but i suggest not taking the chance.it only makes the pain worse and the cast stay on longer.actually it really depends what your doing and where the break is.
