I had a injury 20yrs ago a hairline fracture in my wrist.?!
Question: my fracture did not heal right. i go to see a surgeon on friday what do you think they will do. i am in so much pain which just started 3 weeks ago.

Without knowing more info I would say that you probably have either arthritis or carpal tunnel in your wrist. It usually takes a while for arthritis to show up and it does happen often where you had an injury years earlier. It could also be carpal tunnel if you use your wrist a lot. A computer, drawing, writing, and other activites that use the wrist, can cause it. Hairline fractures from 20 years earlier, is probably not the cause. They usually just heal by themselves. They will probably do an xray, maybe a nerve test, not a big deal, and will tell you what they think that it is. Not to worry. Hang in there. It will all be fine.
