My pinkie toenail just fell off?!
Question: randomly, not black or anything, didnt hurt, just off like a piece of paper stuck to my foot.
And i mean the WHOLE nail! bed and everything.
i called my mom and she freaked out, said I have a deficiency in some vitamin, but the rest of my nails are long and fine and my hair on my head is nice, anyone know anything? am i suppose to call a doctor or something?

I have the same problem with one of my toenails. It started a few years ago, and it seems once a year or so, it falls off, completely, and another one grows right in underneath it. It is the weirdest thing. I don't know if its due to a vitamin problem or not? It seems with mine, it is due to the rubbing I get on that toenail from my tight open toed shoes I were to work. A few pair rub right on that particular nail, and ever so often it just falls right off. I would not worry about this, I don't think it's really any big deal. I did get really freaked out the first time it happened to me!

Don't worry mine fell off before. It grew back, but until then just paint it like it was there.

that could be from pressure on your shoes, you know, the pinky toe is kind of smashed on the side of the shoe.
Don't call a doctor unless it doesn't grow back.
Mine did the same thing, doctor said something must have fell on it and it and damaged it....so the dead thing fell off Still, I don't remember anything hitting my toe. Another one grew before I knew it...just like new!
it is okay. the new nail has formed underneath it and probably is so soft you can not tell that it is there. but it is. for whatever reason, you have shed a nail.
just take multi vitamins every day. It will grow back

Both of my pinkie toenails fall off all the time! They just keep growing back. Don't worry unless it doesn't grow back!
yeahh mine use to do that, none of my other ones tho, just my pinkie it did it 2 or 3 times but hasnt done it for along time...
I think another nail just grew under it and that one was just was old and fell off cuz when mine fell of there was a new toenail underneath it.
