I can never fall asleep.... :(?!


Question: Hey I am a 15 year old and I usually go to bed around 10 or 1030 and I lay there tossing and turning until usually around 1230. I get up at 6, so like 5 and a half hours is not cutting it. I do get plenty of exercise from playing lacrosse and I eat well, so its none of that. I have also tried to go to bed earlier, like around 930, but i still lay there awake and frustrated.....What can I do to help me fall to sleep earlier?

eat a high carb snack about an hour before you go to bed.

You could listen to music when you sleep, or you might just have restless leg syndrom

You should go to the doctor and try to find out if you do and what you could do to stop those sleepless nights.

They say when you can't sleep to GET UP out of bed. You might want to try water sounds, singing birds, any relaxation cd's. Also try 9:00 p.m.

These Cd's can be found almost anywhere.
