i didnt feel any pain when i went to the bathroom, it was all pretty normal.
can something be really wrong? what should i ask for if/when i go to the dr?

This could be something serious or it could not, but it's always important when something like this happens to call your doctor and tell him about it and get professional advice. Blood in the stool, especially dark blood, often is cause for concern, so the doc might want to send you for a colonoscopy to check for serious problems. There is a chance that this is caused by cancerous or pre-cancerous lesions in the colon, but the good news is that if caught early they are highly treatable.

It's possible that the blood is just from hemmorhoids that you might not even know you have. So it might not be serious at all. BUT you cannot assume this. It is really necessary to make a medical appointment soon and to get some advice. Don't worry about what to ask for...just describe your symptoms and the doctor will know what to do.

Probably hemorrhoids.

Bloody stool can be an indicator of Ecoli or another foodborne pathogen. I would go see a doctor. That is nothing to mess around with. Good luck.

Blood in your urine would be very serious and you would have to make an emergency trip to the hospital.

IT COULD BE AN EARLY SIGN OFF COLON CANCER I DONT WANT TO SCARE YOU BUT BLOOD IN STOOL IS USUALLY SERIOUS YOU NEED TO SEE A DOCTOR
