Ouch My Ankle!?!
Question: OK i'm 11 years old (just in case it matters)
i was running with my brothers and his fiances' golden retriever and my ankle kinda rolled and it went on its side i fell forward and it really hurt!
it hurts kinda around the ankle and up the thigh/leg a bit and i also have chipped this ankle before.
what could be wrong with it?

If you sprained it real bad and /or have a hairline fracture,
you will have to stay off that foot as much as possible and elevate it. Time heals sprains/fracture, as there really isn't a
lot a doctor can do except to give you something for pain.
I hurt my foot real bad and my calf muscle hurt me so much, I wrapped the heating pad back of my leg and elevated it most of the time - it helped it a lot. But I did stay off of it a long time, I even got to hop on one leg when I had to go real bad, lol, I didn't know I could even do that!! The main thing to remember is to not use that leg as much as possible, can't twist it or walk on it because it aggravates it more.

rest it and elevate it to prevent or decrease the swelling
if it doesn't feel better in the next 24 hrs go have an x-ray taken
at your age a hairline fracture is likely
