Steroids??could they help???!

Question: Ok first dont preach I dont wanna hear it! I have a problem , with my shoulders to be exact. I hurt my shoulders at work 6 months ago,. I went to an orthepedic doctor who put me on various medications, but none helped with exception to painkillers. I went to physical therapy whiched helped alittle, finaly had surgery on one shoulder as a last resort, then had more physical therapy. I finally got my pain back to a manageable level and went back to work. Now three months after the surgery and physical therapy here I am again in pain...The surgery helped but I still feel pain and my strength has plumeted. I recently started working out (lightly) to help reduce the chances of another injury. However I can barely benchpress 60lbs without my shoulders giving out..Would steroids Help me build my shoulders back up? And if so what kind? The doctor has tried corticosteroids but that only helped for aweek. Any one with experience with steroids and there benefits please respond!!!

Anabolic steroids are very hard on soft connective tissue such as ligaments and joints. You may experience muscle growth, but it won't do you any good if you start tearing your shoulder apart.

HGH, or Human Growth Hormone, is almost a miracle drug for healing these types of injuries. If you are determined to use something, use HGH.

The long term effects are mostly unknown, aside from your head and feet getting bigger (depending on how long you take it.)

dunno'

could help with shrinking ur penis..

i think they help temporary, but remember of the side-effects

they can help shrink your weewee.

i don't think you want that.

why are you asking people on y!a?

ask a doctor, theyre experts.

sure, they'll reduce your pen** size to maybe a 1 incher have fun

your love life will suck a lot

GEt the real doids. Get STeriods the ones used by baseball atheletes it will help.

yes it will but there are a few kinds that you might mistaken as a muscle builder.
if you want to know the side effects it will make you face bigger (not fat but tough looking)

Nope, you only need them once you depleted your natural potential. Once you bench 170 x 10 you can think of them.

It boils down to eating lots.

My sister had an accident and badly damaged her knee, she was on steroids for two months - after that she was completely mended. BUT they made her gain weight like mad, and messed with her menstrual cycle. Personally, steroids will help with your healing process, but if your physician hasn't allready suggested them it could be for a reason.

from the sounds of it it seems like you are healing right now, you need more time to recover. rest for a month more then start lifting. if steroids is a solution, the doctor would of prescribed it a long time ago.

Corticosteroids have nothing to do with anabolic steroids. Corticosteroid = cortisone and would most likely be used to help swelling or something. I get corticosteroids for my asthma sometimes.

Steroids will help your muscles grow, but that might not necessarily help your condition. Tendons grow 3x slower than muscles, this is where the risk of injury while taking steroids comes from, its alot easier to pull a muscle. With an overwhelming amount of strength and muscle that you would get from steroids, if your injury involves tendons at all, you could become more prone to hurt yourself.

That said... If you want to use steroids safely, your best option would be to look at something called a "prohormone" which is not illegal (its essentially a steroid thats legal through some very fine wording of a legal loophole more or less). Go to the forums on bodybuilding.com and look up superdrol prohormone cycle. You'll find what you need. If you don't follow the advice you find there to the letter, you will not get the results you want, and if you dont take the 15 or so other daily supplements you will be recommended to keep you side-effect free, then you could be in for some very nasty side effects (such as permanant loss of libido), Even when you do things right, its not risk free, and its also very hard to stomach, my friend had to quit his first cycle just from how nauseus he became every day. Anyhow... good luck with whatever you end up doing, I hope you get your strength back

to those who say it makes your penis smaller, it doesnt, it just shrinks your testicles....
