It is totally harmless!

i dont think sooo?? im sure u can set it on sleep

i don' t think so, but maybe it depends on how loud and what type of music you are playing, it could hurt your hearing

probably just your ears

i do it all the time ...
its not radiating i dont think

Nah, it shouldn't. I do the same thing... and I'm fine. Maybe you should invest in a speaker, so the earbuds aren't in your ear.

If you have it on low, you should be Ok
I turn the radio on to sleep, it stay's on for an hour and then turns itself off, by which time I'm asleep!

I don't think its doing your ear drums any good. Can you not set a timer so it switches of at a certain time?

It won't do your hearing any good if it's above a certain volume. Hearing loss comes on very gradually and is irreparable, I know!

No but you probably aren't getting a "good" night's sleep -- it's interrupted and sleep is important.

Honestly I don't think so. But a suggestion maybe just listen to your music without your ear phones.

Your brain can end up downloading in to your ipod.

From the sound of your question anything bigger than a 2GB nano should be able to back up your entire consciousness

no cuz i like to do it too sometimes

I always used to go to sleep with music on sometimes still do and I'm fine.....
I would be careful with the headphones they are more likely to cause a problem

depend on how loud you listen to your music. but ya you can start losing your hearing.

Your brain will be fine, but you should be concerned about your ears. The tiny earpieces sit in your ears and block the air and allow bacteria to build up inside the ear. Ewww. Your also creating an interrupted sleep pattern which is unhealthy. They can be hard to get out of if you keep doing it. It's sort of training your brain to wake up. Not a good plan. Take the ipod off and get a good nights sleep.

No actually it probably sooths you to sleep. Just dont play it too loud. Women who are pregnant often put headphones etc..on their tummies and the baby can actually hear it!

no. and the only reason i answered this question is because you used the magic word. PLEASE.

Shouldn't think so. The only way you'd stop it would be not playing your ipod and I can't see you doing that.

Have a good evening ;-)

depends what you're listening to....if you wake up shouting kill them all, kill them all' then you are listening to the wrong thing lol still would be best you took ear piece out as soon as soon as you get sleepy cos a broken sleep is not good all the best

I have fallen asleep on occasions while listening to the radio with headphones and felt more tired in the morning for it. Somehow I think I am not getting the same quality of sleep I would otherwise get if I did not fall asleep in that fashion. I don't think it can do any serious damage to your brain if that's what you're worried about.

Yes! You will find that you know all the words to the songs on your ipod, and sing them when you go to a pub that has karaoke. lol :-)
