I'm sorry you have RSD in your right ankle. As far as plantar faciatous or however it's spelled, my husband was able to treat his after he bought something at a tennis store where they had things for tennis elbow and other stuff. They even make shoes for people that have this problem or have special arches to put in shoes that can help. If you have any burning pain in the foot, I would make sure that the RSD hasn't spread. I know that if one limb is injured, the other side can have RSD as well but it doesn't necessarily mean you have it on the other side now. I think my husband did certain types of stretching to help. Didn't they tell you what to do for it besides just telling you it was plantar fasciatous? It wouldn't be a good thing for them to give you a diagnosis and not tell you how to treat it. Please add some details to let us know if they told you what to do for it. Also you aren't the only one with plantar fasciatous. I still can't spell the word. LOL. Anyway I do hope that you get some relief.

I have been told by a friend with plantar fascitis that she sits on the edge of her bed and uses a stretchy-band (like for pilates) to stretch the arch of her foot. Put the band under the ball of your foot and hold the ends in your hands and pull. Do these stretches first thing in the morning before you get out of bed.
