My upper legs and arms are really sore?!

Question: Yesterday during a P.E. class, me did a few new stretches, nothing that different to me, nothing I couldn't do...and after school, as I was walking home, my legs started to feel REALLY sore. Today in school, I noticed my arms are sore too, but not as much. Whenever I sit, my legs feel fine, even if I move them around a little. But standing up from a seat or walking up the stairs makes them ache. I need to know what's going on with my legs...

I had that problem after a seriously intense workout at school for golf tryouts. You probably never thought that someone would need to workout for golf but my school takes it very seriously because we are one of the best in the nation. We also have a professional trainer in one of our workout gyms who I asked for help with this problem. I never would have thought of this but he said a hot/warm bath or shower. He also said that while you are in the shower, stretch the muscles that ache. My muscle aches had been going on for weeks but the day after I tried this I was dumbfounded at how well it worked. There was NO PAIN. I had stretched my calves, quadriceps, and my glutes so I was so happy to walk and sit comfortably again. If it doesn't work the first time, try it again. If that doesn't work, I don't know what you possibly doing but you should probably see your doctor for some better treatment advice. Hope I was a good help to you and good luck.

The problem is ur muscles are just probrally worn out from all the stretches and the exercising. thats all it will get well in a few days or so. my legs were like that too when i joggeed like 2 miles playing soccer at field day at my school.

Getting a little sore after stretching or working out is normal .It means that your work out was really effective. Soak in a nice warm bath and you will feel much better.
