Answers: my eye lid has been twitching constantly for a little over a week why is this??

Mine usually does that when i don't get enough sleep. Try taking a nap.
Have you been getting enough sleep? I've always heard a twitching eye is caused by exhaustion. Try going to bed a bit early tonight or even taking an afternoon nap and see if it helps out.
GO TO SLEEP! Thats All It Is... Unless You Got Something In Your Eye
The twitching is caused by nerves or stress. Take a good Calcium and Mineral tablet as your body is trying to tell you that you are deficient in a mineral. I know that it works for me. Good Luck!!!

The most common things that make the muscle in your eyelid twitch are fatigue, stress, and caffeine. Once spasms begin, they may continue off and on for a few days. Then, they disappear. Most people experience this type of eyelid twitch on occasion and find it very annoying. In most cases, you won't even notice when the twitch has stopped.

More severe contractions, where the eyelid completely closes, are possible. These can be caused by irritation of the surface of the eye (cornea) or the membranes lining the eyelids (conjunctiva).

Sometimes, the reason your eyelid is twitching cannot be identified. This form of eyelid twitching lasts much longer, is often very uncomfortable, and can also cause your eyelids to close completely.

about 2 hours ago, i was pissed at my dog coz he was throwing a fit and attacking me. so i yelled "BAD BOY!" for about a minute straight and smacked his butt once (not hard at all). he wasn't being horrible, but i've had a bad day, so that just kinda set me off. then i picked him up and took him to a 'time-out' in a closet for 3 minutes. just now i went to go play with him and he cowered and looked at me with a "you hurt my feelings" kinda look.
how do i let him know that i'm not still mad at him??
i feel really bad now.

also,
i am usually NEVER mean to my dog. he showers with me, and i let him sleep in my bed with his head on my pillow. i carry him around everywhere and i love him to peices.

Oh, how I hate it when that happens, it is so aggravating! I hear it could be from a number of things, like stress, lack of sleep, or whatever. I'm not sure what the cause is but I know it's a pain in the butt! Maybe it won't last too long. If it does, I'd see my optometrist.

Could be a magnesium deficiency.
